Dr. Eric Harris is a native Arizonan and was an
honor student at
Arizona State University. Dr. Eric is a graduate of the
University of the Pacific School of Dentistry in
San Francisco. He graduated with high honors from Pacific where he was the recipient of the Dean's Merit scholarship, the ADA scholarship and the H.H. Hilp award for high achievement.
Dr. Eric is a clinical mentor and faculty member for Scottsdale Center for Dentistry and the Spear Institute, where he teaches dentists from around the world about the latest techniques in smile design,
dental veneers, and cosmetic reconstruction. He brings to Harris Dental specialized training in occlusion, clinical photography, advanced
cosmetic dentistry,
Invisalign orthodontics, and oral implantology.
Dr. Harris is fluent in Spanish, having lived for two years in
Mexico. He spends 2 weeks each year helping the Mayan and Incan indigenous people in Guatemala and other parts of Central and South America. He is also involved in the
Smiles for Life and Smiles 4 Success charitable foundations, and has been featured in Phoenix Magazine's Top Dentist edition for the last three years.
His interests include spending time with his lovely wife, Lisa, church, riding motorcycles, and numerous outdoor activities including hiking and
mountain biking. He enjoys long distance running, and has completed several marathons. He and Lisa, are the proud parents of two girls Avery and Poppy.
